A major change in air travel and hospitality was kicked off by Mr Nicholas Bredimus, who brought them together with the software industry to produce a new way to do business. He has done everything from the creation of computer programs that automate resource and time intensive processes to improving air safety and designing luxury homes. Bredimus brings true drive to all these areas, too.

With a look at Nicholas Bredimus’ roots it’s easy to see he was sure to rise to greatness. Drawn together from many nationalities, his family traces all the way into ancient history, with his mother’s side emerging from Scotland and Germany. An equally varied mix stands out in the paternal branch – ahead of their emigration in the late nineteenth century, Bredimus’ forerunners made their homes in Luxembourg and England. That determined spirit prevailed on arrival. Nicholas, who would grow up with his six siblings, was a child of a father employed as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who worked as a practicing nurse. Nicholas went on to live in Texas for quite some while and also spent time in Scottsdale, AZ, Kansas City, MO and Reston, VA.

After the completion of his education, Mr Bredimus engaged in a few high powered jobs with many of the most distinguished and strongest airline companies. Nicholas ascended to the post of Vice President with corporations like Hughes Airwest, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Republic Airlines respectively. But above all the airlines have had reason to be grateful for services in the realm of computer programming. His outstanding innovations in the field of airplane maintenance computer programs, typical now throughout the air travel business while first programmed for US Airways, led to what is probably his most famous achievement. He turned his focus next to recording and making bookings. For both air travel and hotels he developed software systems to offset the bulk of the work that had been involved until this approach. Expanding into yet another field, he developed a networking program to automate ticket ordering – something that hadn’t been done before.

He has also been appointed to several roles entirely unconnected to software design as well. He was division manager for American Express’ renowned IT wing, founded Bredimus Systems, and had the honor of being appointed the founding president of AMR Travel Services. Today he has departed from his airline connections and the software development industry, but he’s still making best use of his abilities. He’s at work now at the forefront of building design – mixing the demands of esthetics with up-to-date technology and authentic ecological concern. Proof (if proof were needed) of just how much a dedicated energy can actually achieve!
