JLS have beaten Robbie Williams to the top of the UK albums chart with their self-titled debut album.
The boyband’s effort out-sold Williams’ new effort ‘Reality Killed The Video Star’ by around 2,000 copies, leaving the former Take That member at Number Two in the chart.
The supergroup line up is believed to have been organised by Take That’s Gary Barlow.
A source told The Sun: “The reunion is go. Robbie is utterly thrilled about it. He’s been dreaming of performing with Take That again for years and now it’s going to happen.
“Gary has spent months organising the event and is determined that it will be memorable. He’s looking forward to singing with Rob again, but landing Paul McCartney is without doubt his biggest coup.
“They haven’t decided what they are going to sing together, but something will take shape in rehearsals today.”
Robbie Williams walked out of Take That in 1995 and had a very public falling out with Barlow. The pair had no contact for the next decade.
But, following 2005 documentary Take That: For The Record, the pair patched up their differences and have recently been writing together.
