Reportlinker.com recently announced the availability of a new market research that is associated with the IT hosting industry. The said report is going to be released and added to the website’s catalogue of resources.

Findings of the new research said that small businesses are now more likely to rely on managed hosting service providers when it comes to business network functions such as storage, security and hosting. These businesses are more apt to outsource this function than invest on an in-house department. Although the sector is significantly slower in terms of spending growth compared to firms with over 100 employees, the research also predicts a steady increase in spending for managed services among small businesses.

The report covered adoption trends for managed services in the US small business niche. It is composed of two sections: one focuses on the demand for such services as well as the trends for adopting such services to cater to multiple business network responsibilities. The section also looked into the demand for fully managed desktop solutions and IP telephony.

On the other hand, the other section looked into the budget that small businesses allocate for managed services. The data tables that include details of current and projected demand for all the surveyed functions are divided into the sub-segment level for small businesses.
The said research was based on the primary study that was obtained on an earlier survey of 304 US-based small business network users.
