Chamonix town is located at the foot of the majestic Mont Blanc in France and is regarded as the Alpine climbing and skiing capital of Europe. Chamonix Mont Blanc has long been known as a real playground for activities in summer and winter seasons. The resort hosted the first Olympics back in the early 1920s – however it is also a domain of outstanding vistas providing a lot of different things to the adventurous snowboarder and sightseer.

However unlike many modern snowboarding areas the town of Chamonix is not a modern ski domain and has largely been preserved from the modern monstrosities that blights a lot of the European Alps. It’s also worth visiting Chamonix and the alps in summer. Chamonix Mont Blanc is lucky to have not only and infamous skiing mountain on the other hand a cosmopolitan and busy town centre.

Chamonix is big enough to ensure that there’s plenty for the non skier to do. Whatever the pace of your break theres something to enrapture the whole group. From a large swimming center, spas, museum and local market; and loads of designer shops, restaurants and night-clubs, Chamonix supplies a mix of skiing, charm and shopping, which only a few skiing areas can match. Why not research your ski holiday at once.
