This post is from our recent trip to Honolulu. Ive got to tell you, if you ever have the fortune to make it to Oahu, you should definitely take the opportunity. It has to be one of the most stunning places in the US. It is so amazing to have such a wonderful location in our country.
The hospitality there is stunning. We took a surfing lesson, rode a canoe, watched a few hula exhibits and even had a chance to try out some bona fide Hawaiian food at a luau. They say ono out there, it means delicious. The Kalua Pig is to die for and be sure to stop by for a lava flow cocktail at Dukes. Its a little spot on Waikiki beach, great for an evening night cap. One of the most unforgettable aspects was when we treated ourselves to a massage in Honolulu. It was spectacular, super relaxing and well deserved after a hard years work.
Hawaii is marvelous. Don’t stress that you won’t do it all, because you can’t. Determine what is most important to you and focus on that. Take time to relax and enjoy just being there. Needless to say, we will be going back as soon as possible.
